Environmentally friendly protection for your compost soil
The 100% natural jute mat is the ideal cover for your composter. Jute fleece offers a number of advantages that benefit the composting process:
- The jute compost cover prevents
weeds from entering via airborne seeds. - The compost fleece protects the biomass from wind and sun. This reduces moisture evaporation and optimally supports the
composting process. The breathable jute fleece guarantees a permanent exchange of air and moisture, thus providing optimal conditions for the natural decomposition process
. The compost fleece is made of 100% natural jute, which is biodegradable. This means you can be sure that no microplastic residues will end up in the compost
soil. Reliable
protection against rot and mold growth. Covering compost with plastic sheeting can lead to a lack of oxygen. As a result, the compost mass rots instead of decomposing. To prevent rot and unpleasant odors, the use of a breathable fleece is recommended. Natural jute fibers are ideal for use as compost covers. The natural fibers are robust, air- and water-permeable, and 100% biodegradable. Jute decomposes over time and leaves no residue in the valuable compost soil.

Non-woven fabrics
As a separating and filter fleece in road construction, as weed and root protection, for laying a new lawn or as a tablecloth at outdoor events – the possible uses of nonwovens are as varied as the fleeces themselves. We offer a wide range of nonwovens for a variety of applications. In addition to TERRAM and premiumgarden brand geotextiles, our range also includes biodegradable nonwovens with integrated lawn or flower seeds and a large selection of tablecloths for outdoor use.
Geotextiles: TERRAM and premiumgarden brand geotextiles have proven themselves in professional gardening and landscaping for many years and are also becoming increasingly popular with hobby gardeners. Geotextiles can be used in a variety of ways as separating fleece, drainage fleece or even for weed control. All our geotextiles are UV-resistant, rot-proof and characterised by their high durability.
Weed protection: Our weed control fabrics are an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of controlling weeds and eliminate the need for aggressive chemicals in the garden. The weed control fabric is simply laid between the flower bed and the mulch layer, so that root weeds no longer have any chance of reaching the light. The weed barrier significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required for flower beds and borders.
Root protection: Our root protection fabrics offer reliable protection against damage caused by tree roots to buildings, cycle paths and footpaths. The waterproof root barrier also helps to keep rhizomes and aggressive root runners in check and prevent the uncontrolled spread of bamboo and similar plants.
Water storage fabric: Water storage fabrics absorb many times their weight in water, thus preventing the soil from drying out. The biodegradable irrigation fabric strips are simply mixed into the soil, where they ensure that stored water reaches the roots directly. For the irrigation of trees in particular, we offer our irrigation net, which is placed around the root ball before planting.
Tablecloths: Our fleece tablecloths are particularly tear-resistant and durable, making them ideal for garden parties and other outdoor events. The fleece tablecloths are washable and reusable, making them a cost-effective alternative to paper tablecloths.
