The structure of the plastic tree protection grids does not prevent weather influences, so that young plants can get used to their surrounding climate at an early stage and established plants can continue to grow without restriction. Tree protection grids for protection against browsing are also suitable for trees that cannot grow in a closed cover due to terminal growth (e.g. beech trees) or conifers.
