High temperatures and increasing drought are causing more and more problems for nature. Trees and plants suffer from water shortages and need to be watered more frequently. Our innovative, biodegradable water storage fleece helps rainwater and irrigation water to remain in the soil for longer, preventing the soil from drying out. The irrigation fleece absorbs large amounts of water and gradually releases it to the roots. In addition, the water storage fleece ensures that the soil is well aerated and does not become compacted. The water storage fleece is available in biodegradable cellulose strips that are simply mixed into the soil. For trees in particular, we also offer the water storage fleece as an irrigation net, which is placed around the root ball before planting. Our water storage nets for trees are made of 70% PLA and 30% cellulose and have a shelf life of 5-10 years before they completely compost.
