GrassProtecta® - For high resilience with natural greenery

GrassProtecta® is a highly resilient, drive-over lawn grid that protects lawn surfaces from wear and tear and rutting. GrassProtecta® also protects against soil compaction, ensuring that the subsoil can absorb water naturally despite heavy loads. As the grass can grow through the open grid structure of the lawn grid, the green area retains its natural appearance but is still highly resilient. The lawn grid only reaches its full load-bearing capacity once the turf has grown through it.

The wave-shaped structure of the lawn grid prevents localized stress on the soil, as the weight is distributed over a larger area. In addition, the structure significantly increases adhesion, which provides greater safety when driving or walking on the lawn.

Ideal for lawns that are subject to permanent or temporary stress

GrassProtecta® lawn grids can be installed on existing green spaces as well as on newly laid lawns. GrassProtecta® is mainly used for the permanent protection of lawns that are subject to heavy traffic, such as parking lots and paths. There, the turf grows firmly into the grid structure in order to withstand heavy loads (2 tons/axle).

Of course, GrassProtecta® can also be used on a temporary basis. For example, the lawn grid is used to protect lawns at festivals, concerts, and outdoor events of all kinds. GrassProtecta® reliably protects high-traffic areas such as parking lots and main paths from wear and tear, allowing guests to enjoy a mud-free concert experience.

Drive-over lawn grid for robotic mowers – simple & easy to maintain

The GrassProtecta® lawn grid is characterized by its exceptional stability and versatility. Not only can it be driven over by cars, delivery vans, and other small vehicles without any problems, but it also offers ideal conditions for the use of modern garden maintenance equipment. Robotic lawn mowers can move effortlessly on the robust surface, which automates and facilitates lawn care. Even heavier equipment such as ride-on mowers can be used without any problems, as the lawn grid ensures even load distribution while protecting the underlying soil. These properties make the GrassProtecta® lawn grid the perfect solution for gardens, driveways, and other areas that need to remain both functional and visually appealing.

Instructions for installing the GrassProtecta® plastic lawn grid

The GrassProtecta® lawn grid is quick and easy to install. The material is rolled out on as level a surface as possible and fixed in place with our fastening hooks (4-6 U-pins/m²). The area can be driven on immediately after installation and can be maintained as usual. We recommend laying the grid during the growing season. This allows the grass to grow quickly through the grid and the roots to form a tight and stable connection with the lawn grid.

The material can be cut to size if necessary.

The following information serves as a guideline for the required quantity of fastening hooks:
