TERRAM PathMat sand mat: The comfortable beach path, 2 m wide
Many beachgoers have trouble getting to the water with strollers, wheelchairs, or walking aids because the sand is so deep. With our TERRAM PathMat sand mat, you can easily build a mobile beach path that everyone can use. The practical connectors allow one or more mats to be easily and seamlessly attached or connected. The mat is two meters wide, as specified by DIN 18040, so that wheelchair users can also turn easily.
The beach mat is not only barrier-free, but also hardly heats up at high temperatures. This means that you can comfortably walk barefoot across the beach even in midsummer. The PathMat beach mat is made of a flexible, soft elastomer that is highly resistant to UV radiation, temperature, and salt water. The walkway is suitable for the following applications:

Flexible assembly and disassembly thanks to connection set
Unlike permanently installed beach access routes, our Rollweg is a flexible solution for quickly installing a beach path and dismantling it just as quickly. Beach operators can lay out the mobile beach mats in the spring and simply roll them up and store them again at the end of the summer. If necessary, e.g., for mechanical beach cleaning, the sand mats can also be rolled up at short notice (together with the connectors).
The sand mat can be used immediately after laying and securing. The pressure load presses the elastomer rollway into the soft sand, so that it is evenly distributed and compacted beneath the mat. This creates a pressure-stable and level surface with high surface strength.

Soil protection
The demand for unsealed usable areas has risen sharply in recent years, and with it the demand for alternatives to traditional ground coverings such as asphalt and concrete. Our products for ground and turf protection meet the requirement for permanent strength without affecting the natural infiltration of rainwater. The result is unsealed yet resilient and natural green or gravel surfaces. These options allow footpaths, access roads and even parking areas to be planned and designed to a high standard.
Driveable lawn grids: Our lawn grids are made of plastic and are used for ground stabilisation and lawn protection. The range includes simple lawn grids for footpaths or parking areas as well as stable lawn protection grids suitable for higher vehicle loads.
Lawn grids: Our BodPave®85 honeycomb grid system is made of plastic and is used to stabilise and reinforce lawns and gravel areas. The individual BodPave®85 panels are connected to each other with a click system to form a heavy-duty surface. They have an open grid structure that can be filled with a mixture of soil, sand and grass seed or covered with turf. Filling the panels with gravel is also a suitable decorative alternative.
Event flooring: Our event flooring includes safety rubber mats, floor mats and turf protection grids. These floor coverings are suitable for different types of flooring and provide protection at trade fairs, large events or smaller events.
Geocells: Geocells consist of three-dimensional, flexible honeycomb units made from thermally bonded non-woven fabric strips. Our geocells are used for erosion control and soil stabilisation.
