TERRA plastic raised bed – the durable alternative to wooden raised beds

Unlike wooden raised beds, the TERRA plastic raised bed offers numerous advantages for hobby gardeners. For example, there is no need for the time-consuming use of a protective film inside the raised bed, as the recycled plastic from which the raised bed is made is not affected by contact with damp soil. Furthermore, a climate can form within the thick plastic walls that promotes decomposition processes in the raised bed and thus encourages the growth of vegetable plants. The plastic raised bed is made of hanit®, a recycled plastic that is characterized by its high weather resistance. This means that the plastic raised bed retains its original appearance even after several years and there is no risk of rotting.
TERRA plastic raised bed – easy assembly with just a few parts
The TERRA plastic raised bed is delivered as a kit on a pallet and can be assembled quickly and easily. The kit for the plastic raised bed consists of only a few parts; all side panels are pre-assembled and only need to be screwed together. Two cross struts attached to the inside of the plastic raised bed ensure particularly high stability and prevent the side walls from being pushed apart. The plastic raised bed has no bottom, so rain and watering water can drain away unhindered. To maintain drainage capacity for a long time, it is recommended to place a layer of gravel or crushed stone at the bottom of the raised bed and separate it from the upper layers with a raised bed fleece.
Plastic raised bed available in two heights – gardening fun for young and old
The plastic raised bed measuring 1.9 m x 0.9 m is available in two different heights. The 83 cm high plastic bed ensures back-friendly gardening for adults, while the 63 cm high raised bed offers optimal conditions for little gardeners and is therefore also suitable for use in daycare centers and elementary schools.
