BodPave®40 – the practical honeycomb grid made from 100% recycled plastic
TERRAM BodPave®40 is a high-quality ground grid that is particularly suitable for creating load-bearing gravel or green areas. The honeycomb grid is made from 100% recycled plastic and thus makes a valuable contribution to reducing the burden on the environment. BodPave®40 is suitable for the following applications:

The BodPave®40 honeycomb grids are laid in a surface composite. The practical click system ensures a quick and stable connection between the individual panels. The plastic ground grid distributes point loads over a large area via the grid system, thus preventing soil compaction. In order to achieve the full load-bearing capacity of the honeycomb grids and thus make them suitable for larger vehicles, a suitable substructure is required. The innovative BodPave®40 design – particularly suitable for greening usable areas
BodPave®40 honeycomb grids feature an innovative honeycomb design that promotes lawn growth and thus dense greening. Each honeycomb has side openings through which the grass roots can grow and intertwine to form a dense turf. The resulting strong connection between the turf honeycombs and the turf further stabilizes the ground and ensures that the ground grid is barely visible.
Sealant-free surfaces – for a natural water cycle
BodPave®40 lawn honeycombs ensure high water permeability, allowing even large amounts of rainwater to seep into the ground without any problems. The natural water cycle is not disturbed by the honeycomb grids; on the contrary, BodPave turf grids fulfill an important water storage function. The plastic grids store moisture and allow it to evaporate slowly, which has a positive effect on the ambient climate.

The BodPave®40 honeycomb system consists of individual panels measuring 500 mm x 500 mm x 40 mm. The underside of the lawn honeycomb panels has 20 mm long spikes that enable them to be firmly anchored in the ground. BodPave®40 is made from 100% recycled plastic and is itself recyclable.

Soil protection
The demand for unsealed usable areas has risen sharply in recent years, and with it the demand for alternatives to traditional ground coverings such as asphalt and concrete. Our products for ground and turf protection meet the requirement for permanent strength without affecting the natural infiltration of rainwater. The result is unsealed yet resilient and natural green or gravel surfaces. These options allow footpaths, access roads and even parking areas to be planned and designed to a high standard.
Driveable lawn grids: Our lawn grids are made of plastic and are used for ground stabilisation and lawn protection. The range includes simple lawn grids for footpaths or parking areas as well as stable lawn protection grids suitable for higher vehicle loads.
Lawn grids: Our BodPave®85 honeycomb grid system is made of plastic and is used to stabilise and reinforce lawns and gravel areas. The individual BodPave®85 panels are connected to each other with a click system to form a heavy-duty surface. They have an open grid structure that can be filled with a mixture of soil, sand and grass seed or covered with turf. Filling the panels with gravel is also a suitable decorative alternative.
Event flooring: Our event flooring includes safety rubber mats, floor mats and turf protection grids. These floor coverings are suitable for different types of flooring and provide protection at trade fairs, large events or smaller events.
Geocells: Geocells consist of three-dimensional, flexible honeycomb units made from thermally bonded non-woven fabric strips. Our geocells are used for erosion control and soil stabilisation.
