BodPave®85 – For particularly load-bearing lawn and gravel areas
TERRAM BodPave®85 is a particularly load-bearing lawn and gravel grid that is suitable for creating intensively usable and impermeable traffic areas, among other things. When filled with grit, gravel, or sand and with the appropriate substructure, BodPave®85 achieves a load-bearing capacity of up to 400 t/m². The lawn and gravel grid is therefore a sustainable, natural alternative to asphalt and is suitable for the following applications, among others:
- Parking lots and parking spaces
- Emergency routes and fire department access roads
- Bicycle paths and sidewalks, barrier-free path construction
- Surface reinforcement in traffic route construction
- Gardening and landscaping
- Green roofs and green roofing
- Paddocks for animals or riding arena flooring in equestrian sports
BodPave®85 ground grids are laid in a grid pattern, distributing point loads across the grid system and thus significantly reducing ground pressure. In order to achieve the full load-bearing capacity of the lawn or gravel area, a suitable substructure is required, on which the honeycomb grid panels are then laid. Sealant-free surfaces – ideal for regulating the natural water cycle
The open grid structure of BodPave®85 honeycomb grid panels ensures high water permeability, allowing even large amounts of water to seep into the ground. This eliminates the need for expensive drainage systems or compensatory measures and prevents ruts and puddles. However, the non-sealed surface of the ground grid system does more than just support water seepage. BodPave®85 also fulfills an important water storage function. The honeycomb grids allow the stored moisture to evaporate slowly, thus having a positive effect on the surrounding climate. The stored moisture is an important resource during prolonged dry periods, especially for green spaces. BodPave®85 lawn and gravel grids enable sustainable construction in urban and residential development.

BodPave®85 consists of individual honeycomb grid panels measuring 500 mm x 500 mm x 50 mm. The underside of the panels features integrated 35 mm long spikes, which guarantee a firm connection to the ground and prevent lateral movement. BodPave®85 is made of recycled plastic and is itself recyclable.

Soil protection
The demand for unsealed usable areas has risen sharply in recent years, and with it the demand for alternatives to traditional ground coverings such as asphalt and concrete. Our products for ground and turf protection meet the requirement for permanent strength without affecting the natural infiltration of rainwater. The result is unsealed yet resilient and natural green or gravel surfaces. These options allow footpaths, access roads and even parking areas to be planned and designed to a high standard.
Driveable lawn grids: Our lawn grids are made of plastic and are used for ground stabilisation and lawn protection. The range includes simple lawn grids for footpaths or parking areas as well as stable lawn protection grids suitable for higher vehicle loads.
Lawn grids: Our BodPave®85 honeycomb grid system is made of plastic and is used to stabilise and reinforce lawns and gravel areas. The individual BodPave®85 panels are connected to each other with a click system to form a heavy-duty surface. They have an open grid structure that can be filled with a mixture of soil, sand and grass seed or covered with turf. Filling the panels with gravel is also a suitable decorative alternative.
Event flooring: Our event flooring includes safety rubber mats, floor mats and turf protection grids. These floor coverings are suitable for different types of flooring and provide protection at trade fairs, large events or smaller events.
