TERRAM Eco-Fleece – Drainage fleece with special filter performance
TERRAM Eco-Fleece is a fleece made from recycled plastic. The garden fleece has a grammage of 120g/m² and is used for numerous applications in gardening and landscaping. Premiumgarden fleece consists of UV-stabilized polypropylene/polyethylene core-sheath fibers that have been thermally bonded to form a highly durable separation and filter fleece. Thanks to its special fiber structure, the garden fleece has a high filtering performance. This means it can be used, for example, to protect sewage and drainage pipes from silting up. Our fleece is also used for drainage on basement walls and other structures, as it prevents even the smallest soil particles from penetrating the drainage layer.
Fleece from TERRAM – environmentally friendly weed suppression
In addition to its use as a drainage and filter fleece, our fleece from premiumgarden is also used in horticulture. Due to its color, green fleece is very inconspicuous in this area and can be used discreetly for weed suppression. The gray garden fleece is ideal as a separating fleece for a gravel bed or rock garden. With Eco-Fleece from TERRAM, you can combat weeds in an environmentally friendly way – without the use of chemicals! The garden fleece in green & gray (120g/m²) is permeable to water and nutrients. At the same time, the Eco-Fleece blocks root weeds, causing them to wither away.
Weed control with TERRAM Eco-Fleece is mechanical and has no impact on the soil or insects.

Geotextiles: TERRAM and premiumgarden brand geotextiles have proven themselves in professional gardening and landscaping for many years and are also becoming increasingly popular with hobby gardeners. Geotextiles can be used in a variety of ways as separating fleece, drainage fleece or even for weed control. All our geotextiles are UV-resistant, rot-proof and characterised by their high durability.
Weed protection: Our weed control fabrics are an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of controlling weeds and eliminate the need for aggressive chemicals in the garden. The weed control fabric is simply laid between the flower bed and the mulch layer, so that root weeds no longer have any chance of reaching the light. The weed barrier significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required for flower beds and borders.
Root protection: Our root protection fabrics offer reliable protection against damage caused by tree roots to buildings, cycle paths and footpaths. The waterproof root barrier also helps to keep rhizomes and aggressive root runners in check and prevent the uncontrolled spread of bamboo and similar plants.
Water storage fabric: Water storage fabrics absorb many times their weight in water, thus preventing the soil from drying out. The biodegradable irrigation fabric strips are simply mixed into the soil, where they ensure that stored water reaches the roots directly. For the irrigation of trees in particular, we offer our irrigation net, which is placed around the root ball before planting.
Seed fleece: Our TURFquick seed fleece is a biodegradable cellulose fleece with integrated seeds. This innovative seed fleece prevents fresh seeds from being eaten by birds or washed away by rain. As the seed fleece already contains all the nutrients necessary for seed development, sowing with TURFquick is child's play and no further fertilisation is required.
Tablecloths: Our fleece tablecloths are particularly tear-resistant and durable, making them ideal for garden parties and other outdoor events. The fleece tablecloths are washable and reusable, making them a cost-effective alternative to paper tablecloths.
