TERRAM geocells – for reliable erosion protection on slopes
TERRAM geocells offer an efficient way to secure slopes and embankments and protect them from soil erosion. The cell system can be used on slopes with an incline of up to 45° and eliminates the need for complicated, expensive construction techniques. This makes TERRAM geocells suitable for a wide range of applications:

TERRAM geocells are laid flat on the slope, secured with sufficient fastening hooks, and filled with existing topsoil or mineral bulk material (sand, gravel, or crushed stone). The geocells hold the soil material together on the surface of the embankment and prevent slippage.
Permanent greening – even in difficult locations Slopes
are often difficult to green because grass seeds and small seedlings do not thrive due to soil erosion. TERRAM geocells support vegetation even in difficult locations. The honeycomb-like cells provide protection during the sensitive germination and growth phase, while rainwater and nutrients can circulate freely through the water-permeable geotextile. TERRAM geocells thus enable permanent greening, which gives the reinforced slope additional stability.

Soil protection
The demand for unsealed usable areas has risen sharply in recent years, and with it the demand for alternatives to traditional ground coverings such as asphalt and concrete. Our products for ground and turf protection meet the requirement for permanent strength without affecting the natural infiltration of rainwater. The result is unsealed yet resilient and natural green or gravel surfaces. These options allow footpaths, access roads and even parking areas to be planned and designed to a high standard.
Driveable lawn grids: Our lawn grids are made of plastic and are used for ground stabilisation and lawn protection. The range includes simple lawn grids for footpaths or parking areas as well as stable lawn protection grids suitable for higher vehicle loads.
Lawn grids: Our BodPave®85 honeycomb grid system is made of plastic and is used to stabilise and reinforce lawns and gravel areas. The individual BodPave®85 panels are connected to each other with a click system to form a heavy-duty surface. They have an open grid structure that can be filled with a mixture of soil, sand and grass seed or covered with turf. Filling the panels with gravel is also a suitable decorative alternative.
