GrassProtecta® Lawn Protection Grid – Resilient green spaces without soil sealing

GrassProtecta® Premium is a highly resilient plastic grid for securing and protecting lawns. The lawn protection grid provides reliable soil protection even under heavy vehicle loads (up to 8 tons/axle, depending on local conditions). It protects against soil compaction and thus ensures natural water absorption by the subsoil. Ruts and mud puddles are prevented by using GrassProtecta®. The oscillating structure of the plastic grid prevents localized stress on the ground, as the weight is distributed over a larger area. In addition, traction is significantly increased, which provides greater safety when driving and barrier-free use of the lawns.

The flexible ground protection solution for the diverse use of green spaces

GrassProtecta® is made of durable, UV-stable HDPE to ensure long-lasting ground protection. The lawn protection grid can be installed on existing green spaces as well as on newly laid lawns. Thanks to its high load-bearing capacity (up to 8 tons/axle), GrassProtecta® Premium is particularly suitable for the permanent protection of green spaces that are used, for example, as lawn parking lots, access roads, camping areas, and much more. When installed permanently, the turf grows together with the grid structure to form a highly resilient surface and is then barely visible. The lawn grid only reaches its full load-bearing capacity once the turf has grown together with it.

Of course, GrassProtecta® can also be installed temporarily, for example to protect the ground at events. The plastic grid is ideal when an existing green space is to be used temporarily for outdoor events, whether as an event venue or as a parking lot and access road. The turf protection grid protects green spaces, e.g., at festivals, markets, and concerts, from wear and tear caused by vehicles and pedestrians, and allows guests to enjoy a mud-free and barrier-free event experience.

Instructions for installing GrassProtecta®

The GrassProtecta® grass protection grid is easy to install and usually requires no substructure. The plastic grid is rolled out on the prepared, well-drained ground and fixed with our U-pins (4-6 U-pins/m²).

The material can be cut to size if necessary.
