Treeguard Layflats: The practical solution with a larger diameter
TUBEX Treeguard Layflats are flat, compressed mesh tubes made from 100% recycled plastic, which can be formed into sturdy browsing protection tubes in just a few steps. Since Treeguard Layflats have a larger diameter than Treeguard tree protection mesh tubes, for example, they can also be used where plants have already grown wide. Thanks to their flat shape, Treeguard Layflats are also easy to transport and store in a space-saving manner.
The green flat tree protection grids are visually unobtrusive and have a service life of at least 7 years, depending on location and climatic conditions. The Treeguard grid structure with a mesh size of 12 mm x 12 mm allows the tree to grow in its natural climate without being affected by weather conditions such as sun, wind, and precipitation.

Layflats can be formed into sturdy tree protection mesh tubes:- Press against the fold edge to create an oval tree protection
tube- Carefully place
the resulting mesh tube over the tree - Attach 2 bamboo or wooden sticks to the inside of the mesh to stabilize
the tube shape - Secure the tree protection mesh tube
to the sticks with cable ties NOTE: To protect trees from larger wild animals, such as fallow deer or red deer, bite protection grids with a height of 1.5 m or 1.8 m are required. For appropriate wildlife populations, we recommend our Treeguard Layflats on a roll. The flat tree protection grids can be cut to the desired size from this roll.
