TurfProtecta lawn protection grid – for heavily used green spaces and dog parks

Our TurfProtecta® is a robust plastic grid for the permanent protection of heavily used green spaces. The lawn protection grid is quick and easy to lay on existing lawns and is secured with the pins provided. After a few weeks, TurfProtecta® grows together with the turf and thus reaches its full load-bearing capacity. Thanks to its green color, TurfProtecta® is barely visible after installation. The inconspicuous grid distributes point loads and reduces soil compaction. This preserves natural drainage, allowing rainwater to seep away quickly and preventing puddles and mud.

Versatile ground protection applications – from walkways to dog parks

TurfProtecta® offers numerous application possibilities, e.g., for barrier-free walkways in parks, children's play areas, and garden landscaping. In addition to permanent installation, TurfProtecta® can also be used to temporarily protect green spaces, e.g., when they are to be used for an outdoor event. The turf protection grid is also suitable as ground protection for dog parks. The structure of the plastic grid protects the lawn from digging dogs, preserving the turf and root structure and keeping the lawn healthy and green.
The lawn protection grid is primarily designed for light loads, e.g., from pedestrians. For heavier loads, e.g., from cars, we recommend the TERRAM GrassProtecta® lawn grid.

With the included U-pins, installing the TurfProtecta® turf protection grid is quick and easy. No substructure is required on a level surface. We recommend installing TurfProtecta® during the growing season so that the grass can quickly grow through the turf protection grid.
