Hanit® is therefore particularly suitable for constructions in damp or muddy environments.
When handling building materials made from hanit®, there is no risk of injury from splinters or health hazards from harmful substances.
Like all products made from hanit® recycled plastic, the plastic boards with tongue and groove are manufactured without impregnation and are recyclable in the material cycle.
Processing instructions for our plastic boards with tongue and groove
When installing tongue and groove boards, please note the temperature-dependent length variations of the material (up to +/- 1.5%).
When screwing our plastic boards together, the board to be fastened should be pre-drilled.
The hole should be larger than the screw to allow for the temperature-related expansion behavior of the material.
Due to increased tool wear, we generally recommend the use of carbide-tipped tools for working with hanit® products.
