hanit® Tongue-and-Groove Boards Made from Recycled Plastic – for Interlocking Constructions
The boards are suitable for constructions where individual elements need to be connected with a form-fitting joint. The tongue-and-groove system supports even alignment and is suitable for cladding, raised beds, play and mud tables as well as other outdoor applications.
The interlocking connection allows closed surfaces to be created. This is particularly useful where soil, substrate or water should be kept inside the construction as effectively as possible.
The boards can be sawn, drilled, screwed and otherwise worked with suitable tools. Their brown colour allows them to blend discreetly into many garden and outdoor areas.
Advantages Compared with Wood
Compared with many wooden boards, no regular surface treatment through painting, oiling or impregnation is required. The material is weather-resistant, rot-resistant and splinter-free.

Processing Instructions
When processing the boards, the temperature-dependent change in length of the material of up to ± 1.5% must be taken into account.
Pre-drilling is recommended for screw connections. The drilled hole should be larger than the screw diameter to allow for temperature-related expansion.
Due to possible tool wear, the manufacturer recommends using carbide-tipped tools.
