PureNature wooden growth sleeves – our contribution to plastic-free forests
PureNature tree guards are made from untreated softwood and cotton – a plastic-free mix of natural materials that still provides reliable protection against browsing and gnawing. The biodegradable trunk protection for trees has a height of 1.2 m and a diameter of 12 cm. The wooden walls are approx. 3 mm thick, providing robust protection in the first few years after planting. The wooden browsing protection can be used for both coniferous and deciduous trees.
Light penetration through side openings – for healthy growth
The PureNature wooden sapling protector has side openings that ensure sufficient light for the young plant. At the same time, the openings are too small for wild animals and provide reliable protection against browsing damage. Thanks to the openings, the newly planted sapling is exposed to various weather conditions and quickly becomes accustomed to the surrounding climate. After a few years, the wooden growth sleeve decomposes naturally, leaving no plastic traces in the forest.
Growth sleeve with plug connection – for quick and easy installation
The PureNature wooden growth sleeve has two stabilizing pieces of wood per wooden wall, ensuring quick and easy installation. The dimensionally stable wooden walls protect your tree from damage caused by wild animals. The trunk protector for your tree is connected with a plug connection made of stabilizing wooden pieces via a groove. Thanks to the plug connection, the biodegradable growth sleeve can be easily and quickly attached around the tree. The wooden growth sleeve is light and temperature neutral and remains dimensionally stable in various weather conditions.
Installation and removal instructions
To attach the PureNature wooden growth cover, we recommend using a hardwood support pole and driving it into the ground next to the young tree. A wooden wall from the browsing protection is then attached to the hardwood pole with a staple gun. The sturdy wooden walls are connected to each other around the tree using two stabilizing pieces of wood with a plug connection. Once the tree is strong enough and the wooden growth sleeve has fallen off, the decomposition process begins. This can be accelerated by placing the wooden slats on the ground and covering them with a little soil.

Vines: Tubex individual protection for viticulture provides effective protection against weed killers and protects the vines from damage caused by mechanical maintenance work or wild animals. as well as damage caused by grazing animals. The microclimate that forms inside the vine protection sleeves promotes plant growth.
