TUBEX Fruitwrap is an open, double-walled growth sleeve that has been specially developed for protecting fruit trees. The Fruitwrap fruit tree sleeve has a side opening that overlaps, adapts to the growth of the tree trunk, and can ultimately be easily removed from the fruit tree. TUBEX Fruitwrap is ideal for slender plants with a single trunk. TUBEX Fruitwrap reduces the growth of side shoots, significantly reducing the amount of pruning required when using the fruit tree sleeve. The growth sleeve has a diameter of 65 mm, which increases to 80 mm as the trunk grows. In addition to its use in fruit growing, TUBEX Fruitwrap can also be used as vine protection for small-leaved grapevines.
Better growth and reliable fruit tree protection up to a height of 75 cm
The tree protection sleeve for fruit trees has a translucent, light green color and thus offers optimal light transmission. As a microclimate forms inside the growth sleeve, TUBEX Fruitwrap promotes and accelerates the growth of young trees – similar to a greenhouse. TUBEX Fruitwrap also serves as protection against small animals and rodents. In addition, the fruit tree protection cover provides reliable tree protection when using herbicides or during mechanical maintenance work, e.g., with lawn mowers and brush cutters.
The TUBEX Fruitwrap fruit tree protection cover is UV-stabilized and has a service life of at least 3 years, depending on location and climatic conditions.
