Tubex Shrubshelter – growth sleeve and browsing protection specifically for shrubs
TUBEX Shrubshelter are sturdy, double-walled growth sleeves which, due to their larger diameter, are suitable for protecting multi-stemmed plants such as shrubs. The growth sleeves fulfill two functions: On the one hand, they promote the growth of young shrubs, as they can grow in a protected climate and are protected from extreme weather conditions and competing flora. On the other hand, they provide reliable protection against browsing in areas where wild animals such as rodents or rabbits occur and threaten young shrubs. In addition, Shrubshelter growth covers offer good protection when herbicides are sprayed in the vicinity of the shrubs.
Thanks to these protective properties, even very small plants that would be at serious risk without a growth cover can be used for projects in the field of gardening and landscaping, for example.
Installation instructions – for effective protection against browsing and gnawing
The TUBEX Shrubshelter growth cover for shrubs is quick and easy to install and just as easy to remove. Use a suitable plant stake and drive it at least 30 cm into the ground. The stake should end below the rounded lip. Press the growth cover firmly into the ground to prevent rodents from reaching the shrubs from below. Then attach the growth cover to the stake using the pre-installed cable ties.
