Tubex Ventex growth sleeve – innovative tree protection for modern forestry
The Tubex Ventex tree protection sleeve has a patented ventilation system in the form of ventilation holes located in the lower third of the growth sleeve. This ventilation system optimizes the CO2 supply in the tree protection sleeve and creates a stress-free microclimate. The mini greenhouse effect improves growth rates in terms of height and thickness and protects the plant against extreme weather conditions. At the same time, the ventilation allows the young tree to acclimatize to the surrounding climate, enabling it to better adapt to the stress factors outside the growth sleeve later on. In addition to these growth-promoting properties, the tree protection tube provides effective protection against sweeping and browsing.
The Tubex Ventex growth sleeve is UV-stable with a service life of 5-7 years, depending on location and climatic conditions. Tubex Ventex has been tested by the KWF and successfully awarded the "Plant Protection" test certificate.
Installation instructions – for effective protection against browsing and gnawing
To install the growth sleeve, use a suitable plant stake and drive it at least 30 cm into the ground. Press the Tubex Ventex tree protection sleeve firmly into the ground to prevent gaps for rodents and ensure reliable protection against gnawing. Use the pre-installed cable ties to secure the growth sleeve.
Due to the ventilation holes at the bottom, the growth sleeve should be used in environments where herbicides are not used.
