TUBEX Vinewrap is a sturdy, double-walled growth sleeve that has been specially developed for viticulture. The Vinewrap vine protection sleeve has a side opening, making it easy to wrap around the vine. If maintenance work or inspection of the vine is necessary, the vine protection sleeve can be temporarily removed without much effort.
Using TUBEX Vinewrap reduces the formation of side shoots and suckers on the vine, which leads to less work. The TUBEX Vinewrap vine protection tube has a diameter of 75 mm, which increases to 95 mm as the trunk grows. The growth sleeve thus adapts optimally to the growth of the vine and can ultimately be removed easily and without leaving any residue.

cm The TUBEX Vinewrap vine protection sleeve has a translucent, light green color, offering optimal light transmission. As a microclimate forms inside the vine protection sleeve – similar to a greenhouse – TUBEX Vinewrap promotes the growth of grapevines, resulting in an earlier harvest and higher yields.
In addition to promoting growth, TUBEX Vinewrap also serves as protection against small animals and rodents. The vine protection cover also provides reliable protection for vines when using herbicides or mechanical maintenance equipment, such as lawnmowers and brush cutters.
The TUBEX Vinewrap vine protection cover is made of UV-stabilized polypropylene and has a service life of 2-3 years, depending on location and climatic conditions.
