hanit® Recycled Plastic Posts – Robust Posts for Pastures, Fences and Outdoor Areas
Whether for horse paddocks, pastures, animal enclosures or wildlife protection fences, hanit® recycled plastic posts are suitable for a wide range of fencing and outdoor construction applications. Thanks to their pointed design, the posts can be driven directly into the ground.
The recycled plastic used is weather-resistant, rot-resistant and splinter-free. Regular surface treatment through painting, oiling or impregnation is not required.
Brackets, insulators and other fastening elements can be attached directly to the posts. The material can be sawn, drilled, screwed and nailed using suitable tools.
Advantages Compared with Wood
Compared with many wooden posts, hanit® recycled plastic posts do not require regular treatment with paint, oil or impregnation products. The material does not rot and does not produce wood splinters.
These properties make the posts particularly suitable for applications where they remain outdoors permanently and regularly come into contact with moisture or soil.
hanit® Recycled Plastic with "Blauer Engel" Certification
hanit® fences and boundary products made from recycled plastic are certified with the "Blauer Engel" environmental label. The certification is based on the DE-UZ 30a criteria for products made from recycled plastics.
These criteria include requirements regarding the proportion of recycled plastics used as well as limits for certain harmful substance contents and releases.
This documents a concrete and verifiable environmental standard for the recycled plastic used.

Installation Information
The recycled plastic posts are supplied with a pointed end and can be driven directly into the ground.
For vertical installation, it is recommended to anchor approximately one third of the post length in the ground. The further the post projects above ground and the greater the expected load, the stronger the cross-section should be.
The material can be drilled, screwed or nailed for attaching brackets, insulators and other components.
